Mobile applications have made significant advances to be more interactive and easy to use. But despite these advances, they struggle to completely understand and replicate human emotions in real -life situations. The interaction of a Reddit user with Spotify after trying to cancel the subscription of his mother’s musical application after his death revealed the same.

The automated application of the application was humorous and sad, leaving the person already surprised Reddit users. In its publication, the user mentioned: “I canceled my dead mother’s spotify and it was not as expected.”

They published screenshots of the conversation in which the application requested the reason behind the cancellation. The reasons listed in the application were technical problems, high rates and others. Instead of choosing among the options provided, the user wrote “I am dead” on behalf of his mother.

After canceling the account, the application responded with a message that said: “It is difficult to say goodbye. But it is easy to join the premium at any time.” The application even created a reproduction list of “Goodbye for now” with song titles for his mother. The titles of the songs on the playlist said: “Yes. You. Let’s go. Now. You take away. The greatest. Part of us.”

“It’s funny and sad. I understand that he is automated and had no idea what he was canceling because my mother died. But the playlist was too funny. I laughed/cried for that and I thought that others could appreciate irony,” she wrote In the comments section.

Many Reddit users reacted with condolences and shared their own experiences to deal with the automated companies of companies after losing a loved one. A user wrote: “I had the same problem with T Mobile when my mother died. No one used the phone, I had to send a real copy of the death certificate and still refused to cancel the account for months. ”

Another said: “I am very sorry for your loss, Spotify seems to be trying to help with a little black humor.”

“However, my condolences, hopefully, a touch of black humor will help you overcome the worst,” said the third user.

About a year ago, another Redditt user shared that his friend canceled his Spotify subscription and received a reproduction list “Goodbye”.

My friend canceled his subscription today due to the lack of availability of many of his favorite songs. He obtained this after the cancellation page that has a song is missing. The irony hahaha.

The person canceled the subscription due to the lack of availability of many songs. What did everything more fun was that even his playlist “Goodbye” had a song that was missing.
