The railway protection force (RPF) has taken advantage of a 70 kg shipment of Ganja on the Ernakulam-TatanaGar Express train at the Arakkonam train station in Ranipet on Saturday.
Police said that a RPF Police personnel were doing surprise controls in the trains at the station.
The express train, which was heading to jharkhand from Kerala, stopped at the railway station. The team recorded the coaches where they found two abandoned bags. When they opened the bag, they found around 25 packages containing 70 kg of ganja.
The initial investigation revealed that a four -people gang went down at the train station after seeing a police team inside the coach. They left shipping on the train and fled the place. A case has been recorded.
