The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is intended to comply with the causes of display cause to the owners and developers of the subsidy structure in LB Nagar after three workers were killed in the basement of the basement on Wednesday.

The notice is issued as a preliminary step towards the cancellation of the building’s permit and the constructor’s license, officials under the condition of anonymity reported.

The permission of the building was obtained for the proposed structure that constitutes two basements and land plus four floors in December last year, after which the excavation work began. The workers were deployed on Wednesday for the work of the mat in preparation to build a containment wall, when the land released on the side wall of the winery suddenly collapsed and buried the workers.

GHMC officials attribute the accident to the lack of supervision and absence of security measures in the excavated area. The sheets and yute bags should have been used to ensure the walls of the winery before allowing workers to enter, said an urban planning officer.

It is said that the incident is a direct consequence of the violations and negligence of the owner/ developer, which did not comply with the security measures and conditions described in the construction permit order.

In addition, the owners/ developer began the excavation of the winery without presenting the mandatory starting notice under section 440 of the GHMC Law of 1955. According to the reports, the attached commissioner of the Hayatnagar circle on January 16, with the necessary instructions to the necessary allow the holders to adhere to all the security measures required on the site during the excavation. Despite the instructions, no security measures were taken, officials reported.

Soil tests and soil stabilization measures are two very important precautionary measures that builders must take before performing any construction. It is not yet known if they were done in case of the structure in question.

A letter to the station of the station of the LB Nagar station has been addressed, asking him to present a criminal case against the owners/ developer for not adhering to the rules and regulations and cause loss of lives.
