A recent publication suggests that a new scam can be developing in Bangalore. A woman received a call from someone who claims to be a Swiggy delivery driver. Although he was not at home and asked him to leave the order at his door, there was no package there when he returned, leaving her confused and worried.
In the following lines, he shared that his girlfriend received a call from a delivery person regarding an order he had never made. As he was not at home, he asked the “delivery” to leave the package at the door.
Reddit user “Subject-Fisherman-90” published in the “R/Bangalore” community with the title “A strange incident occurred in Bangalore”.
Then he described how his girlfriend received a call about a delivery he had not ordered. Not being at home, he asked the alleged delivery driver to leave the package at his door.

Responding to Reddit’s publication, a user said: “It’s a standard scam, don’t worry. I have read multiple stories of similar scams with slight variations. The package would be effective in delivery. His girlfriend would have paid money and there would be some cheap cheap food or empty box. “
“A closed society does not mean infallible security. Safety failures occur. It is very possible that this person can stalk his girlfriend. He may have delivered a previous order and after confirmation of the application, he may have followed the use of type number Personal.
“I had a similar incident, no swiggy, but once I received a mail from Max Fashion Wannabe email (Max Fashionzz) saying that my order is confirmed and will be delivered. I never asked for anything. I reviewed all my records many times and I never ordered. Nor could I cancel my order because the website only had “tracking” and the rest of the website was false and I forgot it, but after a week he delivered something that had “ordered”. The guy entered.
