Martin will begin his defense of the title at the Thailand Grand Prix of the season of the season on March 2.
The 27 -year -old, who moved to Aprilia after winning the 2024 championship for Pramac Ducati, had previously reported pain in the left foot and the right hand after being thrown from his bicycle in his second accident of the session.
Martin had completed 13 laps when he lost control of his new bicycle and was overturned in the air.
The Spanish landed strongly on his left foot before his head hit the asphalt, taking out the red flag to stop the opening day session. He was later taken to a nearby hospital for controls.
The rider of the Raúl Fernández de España track team was also discarded from the remaining two days with hand and foot fractures.
The Frenchman Fabio Quartararo, meanwhile, exceeded the time sheets on the opening day of the tests with a time of 1 minute 57,555 sec.
“I felt pretty good. We were focused on many things to try to spend a good time back and I think I did a good job,” he said.
The 25 -year -old Yamaha pilot was the fastest during most Wednesday’s session and claimed the fastest time on his 50th round.
The six -time Spanish MotoGP world champion, Marc Márquez, arrived in the second fastest with a time of 1 minute 57,606 seconds in his new Ducati machine, while his brother Alex Márquez was third after registering 1 minute 57,738 seconds.
