Sri Lanka has made key changes in his team before the second test against Australia, starting Thursday in Galle. The all -terrain land of the Ramesh Mendis spine has been withdrawn, while the sailor Vishwa Fernando and the first -order batter Lahiru Udara have been released from the team. The decision occurs after Sri Lanka’s bowling fought in the first test, admitting a huge 654/6 in the first entries, since Australia crushed the hosts for an entrance and 242 races. According to Daily Mirror, Mendis, who was removed from the XI test and then the team after a disappointing performance against New Zealand in November, has forced the dispute with an impressive way in the Major Leagues Tournament of Sri Lanka.
The 28 -year -old outside the Spinner has collected 24 WICKETS to an average of 21.91 in the national competition, while contributing 260 races to an average of 52. Despite its modest international record, with seven WICKETS to 40.85 in two tests Previous against Australia (both in Galle, 2022), it is likely that Mendis will be considered for the XI game.
The return of Mendis is not the only change, since the opener Pathum Nissanka has also been removed from the market after the first test is lost due to an injury. His return provides a very necessary impulse to the higher order of Sri Lanka, who fought against the formidable attack of Bowling of Australia.
To accommodate these changes, Vishwa Fernando and Lahiru Udara have been released from the team. Although Fernando’s sewing was not considered necessary on the surface of Galle friendly with the turn, Udara’s exclusion suggests that Sri Lanka is looking to rework her batting alignment with the inclusion of Nissanka.
