An Apple iPhone user requesting fresh fruits and vegetables through the Application of Fast Commerce, Zepto, is charged more per article compared to a buyer who requests the same products through their Android phone.
For example, a kilogram of onions that had a price of ₹ 43 on an Android phone had a price of ₹ 57 on the Apple iPhone. Even in the case of a single order of four Shimla apples, the iPhone user was charged ₹ 123, while the Android telephone user was charged only ₹ 100.

The discrepancy in the price was observed in the case of multiple fresh products based on vegetables and fruits offered through the application. Android users also seemed to obtain more savings than iPhone users when they are calculated with the MRP product.
The prices of packaged products, such as milk and instant noodles, were the same on both devices.

By adding the same set of fruits and vegetables to the Zepto cart, the Apple iPhone user had to pay significantly more than the Android telephone user.
This difference in the price of fruits and vegetables remained the case even when both articles were ordered exactly the same delivery address.

However, Apple’s user’s order was scheduled to arrive a minute before the Android telephone user, despite the fact that the address was the same.
