Shabana Azmi recently shared a photo worthy of postcard with her husband, the renowned screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar of her travel newspapers.
The actress posted the photo in her Instagram stories. In the image, you can see the couple taken by the hand. Shabana rests a hand on Javed’s shoulder while both smile in the camera.
Javed Akhtar celebrated his 80th birthday on January 17. The veteran poet received a special gift from Vidya Balan and Sidharth Roy Kapoor. The couple presented a personalized cake that paid tribute to the most emblematic films of Javed Akhtar, including Sholay, Deewaar and Shaan.
The highlight? Well, the cake presented Javed’s face superimposed on the characters of these legendary films. A message in the cake said: “A man of character (s).”
