Up to 104 Indians who lived illegally in the states of Unitos were deported to India in the military aircraft C-17 Globemaster III who landed in Amritssar earlier this week.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri responded on Friday to a media consultation on the use of military aircraft for deportation saying that, according to the administration of the United States, deportation was classified as a national security operation. As a result, a military plane was used instead of commercial flights.

“This particular deportation is something different compared to the previous flights. In the American system itself, it was described as a national security operation, so maybe they used a military plane, “said Misri while informing the media.
India has also expressed concern to the United States regarding the treatment of deported Indian immigrants. Mea said that the “abuse of the deportees” is “valid” and emphasized that they will continue to address any case of abuse that attracts their attention.

487 more immigrants to be deported
India also said that the Trump administration has identified another 487 illegal Indian migrants who live in the country, which will soon be deported.
“We have been told that there are 487 alleged Indian citizens with final elimination orders,” Misri said while heading to the press conference. In a special informative session, Misri said that the documents of 298 people have been shared for verification with the Indian government by the American by the Americans authorities.

The Indian government is closely monitoring the situation and working with the US authorities to solve the problems related to these people, Misri added.

The Minister of the Union also requested an offensive against the illegal immigration industry. Jaishankar said the government is discovering how illegal migration occurred.
