These are the main benefits of eating a nail daily:
1. Improves immune function
Nails have antibacterial properties, which makes them excellent to strengthen immunity. According to Dr. Jangda, these properties help fight common problems such as colds, cough and flu. Adding a clove daily to your routine could help your body fight infections more effectively.
2. Support blood sugar management
For those with diabetes or prediabetes, nails can be beneficial. A study conducted by the National Health Institutes (NIH) showed that nails have antidiabetic properties and can help in the control of hyperleptinemia in type 2 diabetes.
3. Promotes oral health
Nails are often found in oral care products due to their effectiveness in improving dental health. Dr. Jangda highlights its analgesic properties, which can relieve teeth pain and fight bacteria in the mouth. According to him Nih, The teeth treated with clove oil showed a decrease in decalcification with respect to control.

Dr. Jangda also points out that nails are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body from cell damage caused by free radicals. This can reduce oxidative stress, reducing the risk of diseases and cell damage.

How many nails should you eat in a day?
Dr. Jangda recommends starting with a newspaper to improve your health. Once you develop a pleasure for it, you can increase the intake to 3-4 clove daily. However, avoid consuming more, since it could cause side effects such as diarrhea, slow blood coagulation or nausea.
How to add nail to your daily diet
1. Add the HERBALS
Crush some nails and add them to your herbal tea. This will improve its flavor while providing health benefits.
2. Use in the kitchen
Add nails to your meals to tasty dishes, desserts or spice mixtures. The whole or ground nail work well, even in a simple tadka.
3. Prepare the infused water with nail
For a quick option, make water infused. Slowly kitchen 2-3 in the water for a few minutes and enjoy a drink that increases health.

Nails have numerous benefits for general health. However, Dr. Jangda advises caution since the nails have vata and Kapha doshas, which increase the pitta (digestive fire). If you are prone to acid reflux or an ardor sensation, it is better to avoid them.
