The former batter’s wife of the Indian Cricket team Vinod Kambli, Andrea Hewitt, revealed that she had requested the divorce in 2023, but decided to withdraw it after seeing her husband’s “state of helplessness”. During the podcast presented by Independent Journalist Suryanshi PandeyAndrea revealed that he had previously thought about leaving Kambli but that he was constantly worried about his health.
“It will be helpless if I leave it. It’s like a child, and that hurts. It worries me. I wouldn’t even leave a friend, but he’s more than that. I remember that there were times when I just moved away. But then I would worry: Have you eaten or not?
Recently, Vinod Kambli was present at the Wankhede stadium for the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the stadium. Kambli has suffered several diseases in the recent past and had to be admitted to the hospital where he was diagnosed with brain clots.
