Two young people drown in a tank in Channarayapatna Taluk

Two young people drowned in Jannapura Tank in Channarayapatna Taluk on Sunday.

Ganesh, 30, and Rohith, 28, from Shravanabelgola had gone to the tank to swim.

Although they knew that swimming one of them found problems and the other hastened to rescue him, but he also drowned.

The bodies recovered later a day with the help of fire and emergency services personnel.

Shravanabelgola police have registered a case.
