Two suspended Durga temple employees, three retired from the service, reserved case

The provision department has eliminated three services employees and suspended two SRI Durga Employees Malleswara Swamyvarla Devastanam for allegedly resorting to irregularities in VIP Darshan.

It was alleged that the accused personnel were collecting a large amount to organize ‘Vip Darshan’ of the devotees in the temple. Based on preliminary investigation, the officials of the Department of endowments finished the services of three subcontracting employees and suspended two permanent employees.

After a complaint filed by the temple authorities, the Police of a city of the Police Commission of NTR registered a case. The case is under investigation, police said Thursday.
