Acting on the directives of Tirumala Trupati Devasthanams (TTD) BR NAIDU, the authorities have begun to initiate disciplinary actions against 18 employees, who supposedly follow non -Hindu religious practices while serve in the prestigious religious and charitable institution.
After the resolution of the Board of TTD on November 18, 2024, and according to the provisions of the Doting Law (Law 1060, 1989), all employees must adhere to Hindu traditions and customs.
However, officials have identified certain employees, who, while they are part of the administration of the temple, are supposed to practice or participate, in non -Hindu religious activities, thus harming the feelings of the devotees and committing the holiness of holiness of the holiness of holiness institution.
Orders have been issued to initiate disciplinary actions against 18 employees. If any of them are working in Tirumala, affiliated temples or other departments related to the temple, they must be transferred immediately from their roles and no task related to the temple will be assigned.
In addition, instructions have been issued to ensure that they are not assigned duties related to temple festivals, processions or any other religious function organized by the TTD.
Among the 18 identified employees, while seven are working in several medical institutions administered by TTD as directors, teachers and teachers, four several and remaining TTD educational institutions in other departments.
The Board had previously resolved to transfer these employees to other government departments or facilitate their departure through the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) to maintain the religious integrity of the TTD.
