The president of the United States, Donald Trump, will soon sign executive orders eliminating the diversity, equity and inclusion of the military and restore thousands of troops who were expelled for rejecting Covid vaccines during the pandemic, said Monday the secretary of PETE HEGSET DEFENSE.
Hegseth, an old personality of Fox News and decorated veteran, obtained sufficient votes to become the next Secretary of Defense, a great victory for Trump after a fierce opposition from the Democrats and even some Republicans to his nominated controversial.
“There are more executive orders,” Hegseth told reporters, when he reached the Pentagon for his first full day of work.
Hegesh has promised to bring important changes to the Pentagon and has made Dei from the military eliminate a priority.
The Air Force said Sunday that it will resume the instruction of the apprentices who use a video about the first black aviators in the United States Army, known as Airmen Tuskegee, which has approved a review to guarantee compliance with Trump’s prohibition of Trump of the initiatives of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Hegseth was warmly received on the Pentagon steps by the main American military official, the General of the Air Force CQ Brown, whom Hegseth criticized in his last book. When asked if he could say goodbye to Brown, Hegseth joked that he was stopped just by his side.
“I am standing with him right now. I hope to work with him,” while he gave Brown on his back.
Reuters has previously informed about the possibility of massive shots among high brass, something that Hegesh repeatedly refused to rule out during his confirmation process.
The Hegesh nomination was divisive, since the main work of the army has historically gone to candidates with a deep experience with great organizations and enjoy the broad bipartisan support.
