Three people died and another 16 were injured after a slab of a part under the construction of the JK Cement plant in the Panna de Madhya Pradesh district, said a senior police officer.

The incident took place in the factory located near the city of Amaanganj around 12 noon and rescue operations were underway, said police superintendent of Panna Sai Krishna S. that.

The upper floor of the subsidy unit collapsed, and some injured people were taken to the hospital, he said.
