“His actions were understandably annoying for Flau’jae Johnson and his family and disrespectful for the program and LSU fans,” said the Athletics Department. “We regret that it has come to that in our place after a game that saw both teams capture the level of national care that female basketball has won, and we apologize to FLAU’JAE, his family and LSU.”
DJ apologized for the choice of the song, but said it had nothing to do with the LSU player.
