The eternal debate between Delhi and Bengaluru has been on social networks, and each side presented convincing points. Delhi’s enthusiasts argue that the rich history and cultural heritage of the city, the vibrant street food scene and the monuments and world -class reference points make it the best option. On the other hand, Bengaluru fans claim that the surroundings of the Prosperos city of the technology industry and the starting ecosystem make it the superior option.

Recently, a stimulating publication on the Reddit community “R/Delhi” caused a heated discussion among users. A Reddit user, Biryanikaghulam, shared his recent experience visiting Bengaluru, where they were beaten by the perceived negative stereotype of the Delhiitas. According to the user, Delhi’s people are often seen as “without cultivated and rude” in the technological capital of India.

While recognizing that such behavior may not be justified, the user suggested that there may be underlying reasons for this perceived aggression, inviting others to share their thoughts and ideas about the matter.

“This does not justify the aggressive or rude behavior, but maybe I think he explains it somewhere. Ferozabad, Dinpanah, Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi), Dhillika, Dilli Aur finally Delhi.

The publication caused a polarized reaction from Internet users, with very divided opinions. While some users validated the Reddit poster experience, confirming that the stereotype and hate towards delhiites are, in fact, real, others recognize that delhiites have their deficiencies and improvement areas.

A user commented: “Hate and stereotype for Delhi is real. My colleagues asked me if I had an ipill for lunch because I am from Delhi. They believe that I must be easy due to stereotypes (I have a long term. Partner and I am not in the quotation group) “.

Another wrote: “As strange as it might seem, the presence of a body of water has a soothing effect on the climate, and by extension in the temperament of people. Surrounded on all sides, the delhiitas do not have a sea ride To relax after a frustrating day.

A sad third: “Nah my friends from Delhi in Bangalore use insults a lot. I want to say a lot. They never speak a Hindi prayer without inserting BC every time.”
