An officer of Customs and Border Protection of the United States informs US soldiers at door 40 of the American-Mexico border wall in El Paso, Texas.
The United States Border Patrol agents exchanged shots with alleged members of the poster near the border between the United States and Mexico. This occurs after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, began to increase border security.
The bullets were fired since some illegal immigrants tried to cross the Río Grande to enter the United States, Fox News reported. Neither the border patrol agents nor the alleged members of the poster were beaten during the shots. The area where the incident took place is close to Fronton Island.

The report added that there has been a strong drop in illegal immigrants meetings in the early days of the Donald Trump administration, 35% lower than the last three days of the Joe Biden administration.
Citing sources from the Department of National Security (DHS), the report said there were 1,288 meetings throughout the country on January 17, 1,266 on January 18 and 1,354 on January 19.
In an executive order last week, Donald Trump said: “To enforce the immigration laws of our nation is of critical importance for national security and public safety of the United States. The American people deserve a federal government to put their interests first and a government that understands their sacred obligation to prioritize the security, safety and financial and economic well -being of Americans. “
