All eligible doctors in triptura must be registered in the Medical Council of the State of Tripura. The Council has made the provision mandatory.

The Council has issued a new notice for doctors to complete the registration process as soon as possible. All, including those of government medical services, in private practice and recent graduates must register in the State Medical Council.

The president of the Council, Dr. Sushanta Roy, reported that 3,804 doctors have registered with them and 1,022 of them are employed in the government service.

Mr. Roy said that many doctors have not completed the record, but that they should do it immediately. He warned that the government has made the registration mandatory for each medical professional.

The Council has not established any deadline for registration, which makes it an open process.
