Bengaluru:

A case was recorded against the co -founder of Infosys Senapathy Kris Gopalakrishnan, former director of the IISC Balam and another 16 under the prevention law of SC/ST Atrocities on Monday.

The case was registered at the SadShiva Nagar Police Station based on the instructions of the 71st City and Session Court (CCH).

The plaintiff, Durgappa, who belongs to the tribal community of Bovi, was a member of the Faculty at the Sustainable Technology Center of Indian Institute of Science (Iisc).

He said that in 2014, he was falsely involved in a case of honey trap and subsequently dismissed the service. In addition, he claimed that he underwent abuse and casteist threats.

Other people accused in this case include Govindan Rangerojan, Sridhar Warrier, Sandya VishwSwarai, Hari Kvs, Dasappa, Balam P, Mhishi Hemalata, Chattopadyaya K, Pradeep D Sawkar and Manoharan.

There was no immediate reaction of the Faculty of the IISC or Kris Gopalakrishnan, who also serves as a member of the ICISC’s Trustee Board.
