The teaser of The diplomatStarring John Abraham, he is out. The clip begins with the current Minister of External Affairs of India, S. Jaishankar, explaining the role of a diplomat.
Then move to John Abraham, with a sharp suit, questioning someone in a room. The teaser shows John talking to an anguished Muslim woman who reveals that she is an Indian citizen. Before I can say more, John’s character offers him a glass of water and warns: “Do not try to hide anything, or it could be difficult for you.”
John’s character is based on the Indian diplomat of real life JP Singh, while Sadia Khateeb plays Uzma Ahmed, an Indian woman trapped in an unhappy marriage and forced in Pakistan.
The Teaser gives john glimpses sailing through the high -risk negotiations in Pakistan.
On February 6, John Abraham shared a cryptic publication of Instagram hinting at the film with phrases such as “winning diplomacy” and “weapons failures.” His note said: “Diplomacy wins where weapons fail!”
Previously, on January 16, John revealed the first aspect of The diplomat. The poster showed him in an elegant suit, wearing his exclusive Chevron mustache. He subtitled it, “honored to give life to this story of courage and diplomacy.”
Directed by Shivam Nair (known by Naam Shabana) And written by Ritesh Shah, the film also presents Sadia Khateeb, Revathy, Kumud Mishra and Sharib Hashmi in significant papers.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar from the T series, along with John Abraham (Ja Entertainment), Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl (Wakaoo Films) and Sameer Dixit, Jatty Varma and Rakesh Danf (Fortune Pictures/ Seteta films ), The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 7, 2025.
