The former batting coach of India, Sanjay Banggar, calculated on Wednesday the change in the format and his past exploits in Odi could bring wise joys for the Vira Duo Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the series against England and the Champions Trophy. Both Kohli and Rohit have fought in recent times, even in the series of tests against New Zealand at home and in the Marquee Border-Gavavar trophy in Australia, asking questions about their future in the International Cricket. While the Batter Star Kohli was fired eight times to deliveries outside the stump in Australia, the Indian captain achieved only 31 races in five tickets and decided to retire for the final test in Sydney.
“Look, both players will become the best players of Ball White Ball of all time.
If you make a list of greats of all time in the 50 out of 50 cryket, they are automatic options. Therefore, the format and their past performances would certainly give them a lot of confidence in the way they would approach, “said Banggar, an expert in star sports networks, during an interaction organized by the stations.
“So, I mean, how would Rohit approach at the top of the tickets is something that will be very interesting because he has had a low score race? So, once you see an entrance perhaps more or less, or maybe Two entrances, then we will have an idea about the approach that both players will take in the format of 50.
“And the evaluation will have to be not only the ODI series, but also the Champions Trophy. Therefore, we will have a real idea, a clear vision in its approach.” Before his highly anticipated return of the Ranji trophy, Kohli had also summoned Banggar to help him with his batting during a special net session.
Banggar was feeding Kohli with 16 yards launch with focus on playing growing deliveries in the background. A portable cement slab (with attached wheels) was placed on the back of the length (middle step between 8-10 m in length) to feed the dough with length deliveries that increase abruptly.
However, Banggar did not disclose anything about his special session with the batting master in difficulties.
Kl Rahul support to obtain assent
Bangar, the former land of India, has backed Kl Rahul to use the big gloves before Rishabh Pant in the team’s next commitments.
“If you return the way Kl Rahul has done not only as a batter, but also as a wicktkeeper. Some of the captures and the way he remained in the (2023) World Cup was simply fabulous.
“Rishabh Pant, without a doubt, is a very, very exciting talent. But currently, I think the team would start with KL in the alignment based on the actions it has given in the middle overs, as well as its exploits like Wicktkeeper,” Banggar believed .
No replacement for Bumrah
In the event, the main pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah is lost with an injury, the average overs will become critical from the point of view of India with spinners such as Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy probably operating during that phase.
“In the absence of Bumrah, the bowling alley will have to depend on other aspects, perhaps a Kuldeep Yadav doing a lot of damage to the media. Or, in the case, I also see that Varun Chakravorty has been included.
“Then, in case Bumrah is not available, then they can want Bumrah.
“The absence of Jasprit Bumrah cannot be filled by any bowling player at this time.”
‘SIRAJ Surprising omission’
Banggar said he was a little surprised to see Pacer Mohammed Siraj without imagining in Odi’s configuration considering that Bumrah has a scare of injuries.
“It is always a bit risky to classify players who can only be very effective in a particular phase. So, to answer their question, I am a little surprised of how Siraj was also part of the winning team. Because some of the Games also did very well in the media.
“The game against Pakistan in Ahmedabad comes to the mind in which he came and broke the association. Then, I feel that he has been the main player Sri Lanka in the final.
“I think a quality player is a quality player regardless of the phase.”
