A 20-day long science camp for school students will be organised during the mid-summer vacation. The camp is being conducted by the Vijnan Sagar Science & Technology Park, at Ramavarmapuram, under the Thrissur district panchayat.

The camp is open to students from classes V to XII. The first batch will begin on April 2, and the second batch will start on May 2. The camp will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Scientists, professors, and experts from various fields will lead the science classes. Students will also have the opportunity to visit scientific institutions and conduct experiments in laboratories.

Laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and electronics have been set up for the camp.

The primary goal of the camp is to cultivate an interest in science among students. To participate, students must register in advance, and the fee for the camp is ₹4,000. Interested individuals can register and pay the fee either in person at the Vijnan Sagar office or online. Entry is limited to the first 150 registrants.
