The Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK) plans to implement projects for a sum of ₹ 890 million rupees in the public education sector in the 2025-26 academic year.
A meeting of the Governing Council of the Kerala School Education Development Society (SEDSK) gave its head to the SSK and the stars (strengthening of teaching-learning and the results for the states) in the middle of the government of the union retain funds From the Samagra Shiksha scheme to the State for the State for the State 2024-25 year so as not to implement the PM SHRI scheme.
The annual sponsored SSK plan is a sum of ₹ 890 million rupees and that for Stars is ₹ 638 million rupees.
In addition to the funds for SSK routine interventions, free uniform and a textbook and a school subsidy, special programs have been proposed in the education domain for nine underdeveloped blocks identified as aspiring blocks in the state.
SSK has also allocated funds to improve an underdeveloped school in each district. The funds will be used to configure facilities such as laboratories and libraries.
An amount of ₹ 14 million rupees has also been included to establish science laboratories in secondary schools in the plan.
Varnakoodaram, a project for the Preprimary Schools program under the Stars program, will be extended, with 500 more activities centers that will be created. Approval for 3,000 classrooms for all activities under the Japan scheme (National Reading Initiative in Reading with Comprehension and Arithmetic) is also requested.
Even if the Ministry of Education of the Union is assigned after the evaluation of the Plan, the Ministry of Education of the Union, the release of funds remains uncertain following the State that decides not to sign the memorandum of Prime Minister Shri for now.
