Bangladesh under the leadership of Mohammad Yunus once again showed feelings against India. The last movement is the internal affairs advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, Lt Gen (RETD), Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, on the various agreements between the two neighboring countries. Chowdhury said Wednesday that all “unequal agreements” made with India will be discussed during the mandate of the awami league of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He made the statement while heading to a press conference on the next border conference between the border security force of the bosses of India and the Bangladesh border guard.
Chowdhury’s great accusation against India
According to the Dhaka Tribune newspaper, the advisor accused Indian citizens in the border areas of manufacturing drugs and smuggling them through the border,
“They manufacture Fensedilo and contradict Bangladesh. Although they claim to produce it as a medicine, it is actually done as a narcotic,” Chowdhury said.
Any activity within the 150 yards of the border requires the mutual approval of both sides and added that there is no disposition for unilateral action, he said.
The advisor added that if a mosque or temple must be built for development purposes, the consent of both countries is necessary.
Emphasis will be emphasized that this consent is obtained in the future, he said.
“The discussions will be held during the conference on stopping the alleged border murders and shooting citizens of Bangladesh unarmed at the border,” Chowdhury added.
The conference will also address the alleged issuance of the BSF or the Indian citizens who kidnap or stop the citizens of Bangladesh, he mentioned.
Measures will be emphasized to stop border violations, illegal crosses or infiltrations by BSF or Indians citizens. In addition, preventing the smuggling of illegal drugs such as Yaba and Fensedilo, weapons, ammunition and explosives of India in Bangladesh will be a priority, “Chowdhury said.
The advisor also said that issues such as the equitable distribution of water in the rivers along the border of Bangladesh-India, the water extraction of the rivers, the implementation of water agreements and the reopening of the mouth of the Rahimpur channel.
