Shubman Gill celebrated his rise in the last Ranking of ICC Odi with a majestic one hundred against England in the third and last hate against England at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The ViceCapitan of India, who has been in Sublime in the Odi series with fifty consecutive years, ran to his eighth century in 95 balls to affirm his dominance over the English.
To add to that, Shubman Gill became the first Indian player to score one hundred in his 50th hate and also the fastest in terms of entries to seven centuries in the format.
In the process, Shubman Gill also became the fifth player of the world to score hundreds of formats in one place. FAF du plessis (Johannesburg), David Warner (Adelaide Oval), Babar Azam (Karachi) and Kock Quinton (Centurion) achieved the same before Shubman.
