Shahid Kapoor is ready for his next release, Deva, next to Pooja Hegde. For certification, the film went to the Board of Censors, but before the U/A certificate was granted, a part of the kiss scene was cut. According to the recommendations of the CBFC (Central Board of Cinema Certification), it is reported that director Rosshan Andrrews has made changes in the kissing scene. Not only the kissing scene, but there are several other modifications that have been suggested by the Censor Board, such as changes in bad gestures and profane words.
As they change, the final execution time of DVA stood at 2 hours, 36 minutes and 59 seconds. Deva is not the first Shahid movie to face such cuts. His last release, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, also faced similar cuts after the censorship board cut a love scene in the film.
