Selected MITS students to carry out practices in Japan

Seven last year students from B.Tech of the Madanopalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) in the Annamayya district have been selected for two -month international internship at the University of Aizu, Japan.

The students (Pallavi Konduru, Manasa Nellori, Ayesha Penugonda, Sai Ganeswari Nallapusala, Bindusree Gopalappa, Indu Easwar Shivani Nayuni and Jaswanth Muthinedi) will work under the direction of Prof. Uday Kiran Rage and with the support of Tatsuki Kawaguchi, Director of International. Programs at the University of Aizu.

This opportunity came after the efforts of collaboration between MITS and global institutions, backed by preliminary negotiations of the Mou led by Mr. Kawaguchi and Vijaya Lakshmi Udayagiri, senior manager of the Mits International Relations Office. Mrs. Udayagiri also visited Japan to finish the association, whose objective is to improve educational and research collaborations.

The internship offers students exposure to avant -garde technologies and a global academic environment, which reflects MITS’s commitment to internationalization. On this occasion, the students and Mrs. Udayagiri congratulated Mr. Kawaguchi for their contributions.

University correspondent N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choubroy, executive director Keerthi Nadella, director C. Yuvaraj and the members of the teaching staff praised the achievement and congratulated the interns for the progress of Mits’s global research initiatives.
