The Special Research Team (SIT) that is investigating the accusations following the publication of the Hema Committee report presented a second sheet of charges against M. Mikesh, actor and MLA, in a case of sexual assault.
The first had been presented in a court in Wadakkerry, in another case. The investigation team was based mainly on digital evidence, while presenting the new charging sheet before a court of judicial class magistrates here about a week ago, it is known.
The case was registered by the Maradu Police, after a complaint from a woman actor. Refuting his accusations, Mr. Mikesh said the charges were the result of his refusal to succumb to his blackmail attempts.
The SIT has also presented a charges against actor Manianpilla Raju in a case of sexual harassment, in which the actor allegedly sexually harassed the plaintiff in Fort Kochi.
