Shahid Kapoor talked about his RANGOON The stabbing incident of the co -star Saif Ali Khan (once again). Now that Saif has been discharged from the Lilavati hospital and is back at home, Shahid spoke more about the shocking incident in an interview with Indian Express.
Shahid said: “This can happen to anyone. But, Mumbai is a very safe city and it is always known that it is safe. This is a very shocking incident and everyone is very surprised. There are many cities where these things happen and it is not a Great problem.
He continued to emphasize the broader concern, stating: “There are many people who will probably be in a similar situation. Even if it had happened with a normal individual, we should be so worried. Because it is a celebrity toh Basske Baare Mai Baat Zyada Hoti HAI (because of what that is spoken a lot).
Saif was attacked around 2:30 am on January 16 and suffered six white weapon wounds, including one on his neck. He underwent emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital, where he was treated.
The actor was discharged five days later and returned home. Mumbai’s police have arrested the alleged intruder, a citizen of Bangladesh, who is currently in custody.
Shahid and Saif previously starred in the 2017 historical film RANGOONDirected by Vishal Bhardwaj.
In the professional front, Shahid will soon be seen in the next Deva and Vishal Bhardwaj project, while Saif’s most recent role was in Retara: Part 1.
