A Texas man who killed his Striptease club manager and another man, then caused a massive blockade of the state prison system when he used a contraband cell phone in the death corridor to threaten a legislator, was executed Thursday by The night.

Richard Lee Tabler, 46, received a lethal injection in the state prison in Huntsville. The time of death was 6:38 PM CST, 15 minutes after a lethal dose of the powerful sedative pentobarbital in his arms was administered.

“There is no day that passes through that, I do not regret my actions,” said Taber, tied to the clique of the Chamber of Death, looking at relatives of their victims who observed through a window a few meters away .

“He had no right to take away his loved ones, and I ask him and pray, I hope and pray, so that one day you will find him in your hearts to forgive me for those actions,” Tabler said. “No amount of my apologies will return them.”

He said to love his family and friends, lawyers and followers, and thanked prison officials for his compassion and “the opportunity to show him that I can change and become a better man and rehabilitate.”

After apologizing several more times and saying that this was the beginning of a new life for him in heaven, he told the Guardian: “I have finished.”

When drugs began, he spoke once again, “I’m sorry,” then began to breathe quickly. After a dozen breaths, the entire movement stopped.

Board – el Second person executed in Texas In just over a week, with two more scheduled by the end of April, he was sentenced by deaths from Mohammed-Amine Rahmouni, 28 years old, and Haitham Zayed, 25, in a remote area nearby nearby of Killeen in the center of Texas.

Rahmouni was the manager of a Striptease club where Tabler worked until he was expelled from the place. Zayed was a friend of Rahmouni, and the police said that both men were killed in a night meeting to buy a stolen stereo team that was actually a planned ambush.

Tabler also confessed that killing two teenagers who worked at the club, Tiffany Dotson, 18, and Amanda Benefield, 16. He was accused but never tried in his murders.

Dotson’s father, George, was among the witnesses. He refused to comment on the apologies of Tabler, saying that he needed time to process what he had just seen, but he was glad to have seen him.

“I couldn’t wait,” he said. “It took me for 20 years.”

“Today is for Tiffany,” said his godfather, Tom Newton. “And this is justice.”

Tabler had repeatedly asked the courts that his appeals were withdrawn and that he was killed. He has also changed his mind at that point several times, and his lawyers have questioned whether he is mentally competent to make that decision. The Registration of the Prison of Tabler includes at least two cases of suicide attempt, and was previously awarded a suspension of the execution in 2010.

“The petitioner has spent the last twenty years in court, and it makes no sense its current execution date.

The telephone calls for the death of Table in 2008 the state senator John Whitmire, who is now the mayor of Houston, caused an unprecedented closure of more than 150,000 inmates in the second largest penitentiary system in the country. Some were limited to their cells for weeks, while the officers swept more than 100 prisons to confiscate hundreds of smuggling elements, including cell phones.

Whitmire directed a Senate committee with the supervision of state prisons, and said at that time that Tabler warned him that he knew the names of his children and where they lived. Whitmire, through a spokesman for the mayor’s office, refused to comment on the pending execution of Tabler.

The ACLU appealed to the case of Table to the United States Supreme Court last year, claiming that the adequate legal representation was denied during their appeals from the lower court by lawyers who refused to participate in hearings in what they said that It was your request.

The appeal of the ACLU argued that Tabler’s lawyers ignored a psychological examination that determined that he had a “deep and severe constellation of mental illnesses” that had been ignored since childhood. The court refused to stop its execution.

The Club Board worked on what was called Teaazers. The researchers said he had a conflict with his boss, Rahmouni, who allegedly said he could make the family “eliminate” for $ 10.

Tabler recruited a friend, Timothy Payne, a soldier in the nearby Fort Cavazos, and attracted Rahmouni and approached a meeting under the appearance of buying the stolen stereo team. Tabler shot both of them in his car, then took Rahmouni and asked for a video from Payne shooting Rahmouni again.

Table then confessed the murders. During the sentence phase of his trial, prosecutors introduced written and recorded statements of taber saying that he also killed Dotson and Benefield days later because he was worried that they told the people who killed men.

The researchers said that before being arrested, Tabler called the Bell County Sheriff’s office to make fun of the agents about the murders and threatened to kill more employees and the undercover police in the Striptease club.

Also on Thursday, in Florida, a man condemned for killing a husband and a wife during a fishing trip on a remote farm while his child looked kill by lethal injection in the first execution of that state this year.
