Realme 11 pro+ 5g review: Yin-Yang smartphone

Realme 11 pro+ 5g review: Yin-Yang smartphone

0:00

Realme 11 pro+ 5g has officially launched in India and by the nomenclature, it should be the successor of Realme 10 Pro+ 5G (review). However, with the number of updates on offer, the 11 Pro F5 5G (review). The telephone certainly includes promising paper hardware, including a new 200 megapixel primary chamber, a fast 100W charge and a capable performance unit.

With everything that is offered, should I consider buying the Realme 11 pro+ 5g? Here is our full review to help you decide.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g Price in India

Realme 11 pro+ 5g has been launched in two configurations. The base telephone variant includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and has a price of RS. 27,999. The variant we have comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which has a price of RS. 29,999.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g Design and screen

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G comes in three finishes, Astral Black, Oasis Green and Sunrise Beige. The green variant we have has a false-Cover in the back, which seems to be a new trend now. I have no problem here, since it feels very premium compared to regular plastic panels and also helps avoid digital traces and spots. The beige color also has a false leather back.

Both weigh around 189 GY thanks to the textured surface, they offer a good grip and a hand sensation. The rear panel also has a stitch pattern that works vertically through the center of the rear panel, which seems that the phone wears a fashion leather jacket. If you want a simpler look, the black variant is always there, which is also a bit lighter to 183 g.

The plastic frame has a bright finish and houses the power buttons and volume to the right, while the lower edge houses the USB type C port, the primary speaker rack and the hybrid-sim-sim slot.

Things have not changed so much in the front of the Realme 11 pro+ 5g compared to the 10 pro+ 5g, which is not a bad thing. The 11 pro+ 5G uses the same AMOLED screen with a 6.7-inch curved edge with a Full-HD+ resolution and an 120Hz update rate. The screen offers an excellent multimedia experience with rich colors and wide brightness for outdoor conditions. There is an HDR10+reproduction certification, which worked with YouTube at the time of this review, but Netflix did not detect it. Despite the curved edges of the screen, I did not experience any problem with accidental touches.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g’s Chin Bezel is among the thinnest in its segment

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G has a digital footprint scanner on the screen, which is quite fast to authenticate and unlock the device. I would have liked if the scanner was placed slightly higher than its current position, which is almost towards the bottom of the screen.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g Specifications and software

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G presents a SOC Dimensity 7050 Mediatek, which is a slightly adjusted version of the dimensity 1080 SOC found in the 10 Pro+ 5g. The 11 pro+ also has a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The phone has a double height configuration, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS support.

In software terms, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G Boots the Realme UI 4.0 Based on Android 13. Personalized skin based on OPPO color offers many customization and personalization options. To begin with, users can adjust the shape and size of the icons, change sources, wallpapers and themes. You can also synchronize the colors of the system icons with the wallpaper. There is also support for an always on the screen, which offers some customization, including the addition of a bitmoji.

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G Bloratware makes the application drawer disorderly

That said, Realme UI 4.0 is a disaster when it comes to highware and applications recommendations. Currently, among all personalized skins, it feels like the most fan of the lot. If hot applications, hot games and free -free were not enough, the phone is also pre -installed with a lot of third -party applications such as Josh, Dailyhunt, Moj, Phonepe, Spotify and LinkedIn.

To make things worse, Game Center, App Market (the Realme Native Application Store) and the spam of the theme store of the notification tone with frequent recommendations. In addition, every time an application is downloaded and installed, it is redirected to a new screen with the option to open or verify more applications in the application market. The same screen will also show advertisements for other applications available in the application market.

The good news is that Realme has promised to provide two main updates of Android and security support for three years for Realme 11 Pro+ 5G.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g Performance and battery life

Realme 11 pro+ 5g is quite capable when it comes to handling routine tasks and casual games. The phone showed no sign of delay or stuttering, except for a little jitter in the animations while reproducing videos (YouTube mainly) in Image-Picure mode (PIP).

When it comes to games at the Realme 11 Pro+ 5g, BGMI extends to ‘Ultra’, conmarked with ‘HDR’ graphics. You can also execute it to a larger ‘extreme’ frame with ‘soft’ ‘graphics configuration. I enjoyed playing BGMI in the 11 pro+ 5g, since it was not delayed or showed any sign of stuttering. The phone is marginally heated around the camera module, which is quite normal. The rear chamber module tends to be interposed by holding the phone horizontally, which is something to get used to.

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G scored 5,37,230 points in Antutu (V10), which is lower than the Motorola Edge 40 of 7,64,083 points and the little F5 score of 10.94,798 points. In the single nucleus and core tests of Geekbench 6, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G obtained 921 and 2138 points, respectively.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g admits a quick 100W charging through the USB type C port

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G offers a battery life of the whole day with a single load. He averaged approximately eight hours and 35 minutes of screen time (SOT) during the review period. The device also lasted approximately 23 hours and 16 minutes in our HD video battery loop test, which is quite impressive. He took about 40 minutes to load the phone completely in my experience using the property charger, which is approximately 14 minutes more than the charged load time.

Realme 11 pro+ 5g cameras

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G has a triple camera configuration at the back. It has a new HP3 Samsung Isocell sensor of 200 megapixels with an opening F/1.69, and claims to offer up to 4x zoom without losses. There is also an ultra -wide camera of 8 megapixels and a 2 megapixel macro camera.

The main chamber captures good details in daylight, but the colors are slightly on the saturated side. The dynamic range performance is also quite good. While the general image generally exposes well and offers good details in reflexes and shadows, it tends to make the night sky look quite blue instead of gray or black as it should be.

The 4x quality claim without losses of Realme turns out to be whenever it is saving in well -lit environments. However, place the camera in a challenging situation and lose some details when it approaches.

The main camera is inconsistent when it comes to human skin stones in photo and portraits modes. Many times, I noticed that the camera caused the skin to appear red in the photos. In addition, the 2x portrait mode offered a constant substance blur compared to 1x, which often bordered parts of the subject’s face.

The application of the camera also has a new moon mode, which is automatically activated if you have enabled the recognition of the AI scene. It is more an astronomical characteristic (word game) if you ask me. Once the camera points to the moon and approaches 20x, the camera will capture a photo of the moon assisted by AI-AI. However, if some objects such as the leaves or branches of a tree stand on the road, that portion of the moon that is covered is blurred, while the rest look acute. Fun, but trick.

The images taken with the ultra wide camera have a different color temperature compared to the main camera. That said, the dynamic range performance is good.

The front camera is quite good when it comes to the precision of skin tone and dynamic range. However, there were times when my ear or hair also erased in the shots in a portrait.

In video terms, Realme 11 Pro+ can send videos of up to 4K 30 fps using the rear camera. The front camera can shoot only 1080p 30 fps videos. Both do a good job by exposing the subject well. However, the rear camera offers a better range and dynamic colors.

Verdict

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G tries to level up through Realme 10 Pro+ 5G with an improved camera and design, while providing incremental performance, battery and load improvements. It is certainly one of the best phones designed in this segment and also offers excellent multimedia experience and long battery life. The performance is also quite good for the price, but the completion – Motorola Edge 40 (review), Iqoo neo 7 (review) and the little F5 5g (review) – works a little better in this regard.

Where the telephone fight is the Chambers Department. While the performance of the day of the main chamber is quite good, I cannot say the same about low light and there is inconsistency when it comes to postprocessing. The software is also a disaster. While realme UI obtains a high score in the features, the combination of Bloratware and dispersed ads in different parts of the interface is quite intrusive and a good user experience is removed.

The Yin and Yang concept is the first thing that comes to mind with Realme 11 pro+ 5g. While the phone has an excellent hardware and characteristics (the Yang), the swollen and heavy software with ads, along with the rear cameras not so consistent withdraw from some notches (the yin).

Motorola’s Edge 40, one of the rivals closest to Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, has an elegant design, a curved edge screen and a slightly more powerful performance unit. It even comes with an IP68 rating and a wireless load. While their cameras could also have been better, the software is much cleaner. On the other hand, if you simply want the best performance of your class and you do not care about aesthetics, little F5 5G (review) should be the one you should consider.
