Ludhiana, Punjab:
A Punjab court issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in relation to an alleged case of fraud. The order was issued by the judicial magistrate of Ludhiana Ramanpreet Kaur.
The case involves an alleged RS 10 Lakh fraud, presented by Ludhiana’s lawyer, Rajesh Khanna, against a Mohit Shukla, in which he said he was attracted to invest in a false currency of Rijika.
Sonu Sood was summoned to the courts to testify, but did not appear, which led to the issuance of the arrest order.
In his order, the Ludhiana court ordered the officer in charge of the Oshiwara Police Station, andheri West, Mumbai, to arrest Sonu Sood.
The order says: “Sonu Sood, (s/o, w/o, d/o) resident of R/O H.No 605/606 Casablanc Apartment, has been duly attended with invocation or order (s) but (s) (s) (s) but (s) but (s) but (s) (s) (s) but (s) (s). to avoid the service of an order (s)).
“It is indicated that this order is returned from 10 to 02-10-2025 or before with a support that certifies the day and the way in which it has been executed, or the reason why it has not been executed,” reads the order.
The next audience of the case is scheduled for February 10.
