The leader of the Congress and the deputy of Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, on Tuesday (January 28, 2025) visited the women’s family who was killed by a Tigre last week in this high -ranking district in Kerala.
Mrs. Vadra, also the general secretary of Congress, arrived at Kannur airport and then traveled to Wayanad by road, said a source of the party.

He arrived at Radha’s house, who was killed by a tiger when he was collecting coffee beans on the Priyadarshini farm in the town of Mananthavady here on January 24, around 1.15 pm and comforted the victim’s family.
The tiger ‘Man-Eater’ who killed Radha was found dead in Wayanad on Monday and a necropsy in the animal revealed the presence of the victim’s hair, the dress and a couple of earrings in the stomach, forest officials said.
The deputy of Wayanad will also visit the family of NM Vijayan, former carrier of the Fiesta District Office, who, along with his son, died for suicide.
Vijayan, seventy -eight, who was the Treasurer of the Congress of the District of the Wayanad (DCC), and his 38 -year -old son JijEsh, died at the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital on December 27, 2024 after trying suicide.
The incident has caused a political controversy, with the Governing CPI (M) in Kerala alleging that a cooperative banking scam that involves the MLA Balakrishnan congress pushed the duo to take such drastic measures.
The prominent leaders of the Congress in the district, including Mr. Balakrishnan and the president of Wayanad DCC, ND Appachan, were arrested in relation to the case and released on bail, since they obtained an anticipatory bond of the Court.
After visiting Vijayan’s family, Mrs. Vadra celebrates a meeting at school in the afternoon, said the source.
