The budget session began with a new controversy this morning after the deputy of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, called President Droupadi Murmu as “poor” while commenting on his speech to Parliament. The phrase followed the concern of Mrs. Gandhi that the 66 -year -old woman seemed exhausted after her long habitual speech, and the BJP denounced it as a “derogatory comment” and demanded an apology.
