The Police Department and the Kerala Congress (m) reached a great criticism at the meeting of delegates of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] Iduki district conference on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the second day of the meeting, the delegates presented criticism against the Department of Origin. The statements made by the former Minister of Energy and Udumbanchola MLA MM Mani were also criticized.

A demand for resignation of Forestry Minister AK Saseendran during the meeting was also renounced. The delegates questioned the government’s decision to allow him to remain in office even after the minister expressed his willingness to resign.

The Kerala Congress (M) [KC(M)] and his minister Roshy Augustine also faced great criticisms at the meeting. “The minister’s performance is not up to par. The Democratic Front of the Left (LDF) did not benefit in any way after aligning with the KC (M), ”according to party activists.

The leadership of the Catholic Church that distanced himself from the party also grew up during the meeting. “The party, with great exaggeration, decided to dispute Joyce George as a candidate of LDF in the circumscription of Idukki in the last elections of Parliament. However, he lost the seat by a 1.5 Lakh vote margin. Party leadership should seriously consider this problem, ”he urged delegates.

The growing conflicts of Human-Wildlife were also discussed during the meeting, and the delegates criticized the failure of the forest department when addressing the problem. The lack of cooperation between the forest and the Department of Income was also pointed out.

Several area committees also increased criticism against state leadership and IPC district (M). The lack of implementation of the land allocation law (amendment) in the district was also criticized with the delegates who pointed out the failure of the Government when dealing with the problems related to the land in Idukki.

The conference will conclude on Thursday. Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will open the public meeting at 4 pm
