Oppo left a track about his Find X8 series that arrived in India by allowing us to review his Find X7 Ultra Signhyp earlier this year. The smartphone centered on the high -end camera was not launched in India, but it did establish everyone’s expectations about the last flagships of Oppo in terms of camera performance. It moved me a little, since Oppo’s Find X series has been missing in action during the last four years. The last devices of the Find X series will be announced in India were the Find X2 (and the Find X2 Pro), but none of these went on sale for reasons better known by OPPO.
And now, Oppo has decided to relaunch its two flagships centered on the chamber in the country. OPPO FIND X8 and OPPO Find X8 Pro are now ready to assume similar offers from other premium brands such as Samsung and Apple. Taking into account Oppo’s legacy of your Find series, the brand surely has some large shoes to fill. I have used both smartphones for a while, and this is what I have observed about their cameras so far.
Oppo Search X8 and look for the specifications of the X8 Pro camera
The OPPO Find X8 has a triple rear camera configuration compared to the four rear -oriented cameras Find X8 Pro. There is also a remarkable difference between the hardware used, and this obviously makes the first one less capable than the second.
By immersing ourselves in the hardware specifications, we have a primary camera of 50 megapixels on both devices, but the Find X8 has a lower opening of f/1.8 versus the opening f/1.6 Find x8 Pro, which should be able to shoot faster -Decounts of light. The 50 megapixel ultrawide cameras on both smartphones are identical, with a brilliant F/2.0 opening and a wide vision of the field of vision (FOV) of 120 degrees. The same goes for the 32 megapixel selfies chambers that have an opening F/2.0 and can shoot 4K.
Both the FIND X8 and Find X8 Pro hardware share some camera hardware
The biggest difference here is the way in which both cameras handle the zoom with their respective telephoto configurations. The Find X8 has only one periscapeño telephoto chamber of 50 megapixels (OIS) with 3x optical zoom. The Find X8 Pro has the same teleobjective camera of Periscapixel Periscapixel, but one of the teleobjective shot experience by adding a second Teleobjective Chamber of Periscope (OIS) with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a 6x optical zoom. Naturally, this will improve its reach once we go beyond the optical focal distance, and this also makes OPPO find X8 pro the first smartphone that presents two Periscope teleobjective cameras.
OPPO Search X8 and finds X8 Pro’s shooting experience
The Find X8 Pro also has a new trick under the sleeve, a camera button. For obvious reasons, Oppo had to mark it differently, so it called it a fast button. Apart from Apple, the button can also be compared with the available on Sony’s Xperia flagships, since its main function is to allow you to take photos without touching the screen.
Take out the phone from your pocket, press the button twice and the camera is fired instantly, ready to take photos. You can also slide your finger on the button to approach and leave, but I found it quite restless in terms of operation, since it was not as soft as I expected to be. Keeping the capacitive button will activate what OPPO calls SNAP of lighting, which is a continuous explosion of images (or explosion mode).
The new fast button can be a bit restless
To be very clear, the fast button is not a mobile but static button. It has a capacitive layer, which allows the application of the camera to detect blows to the zoom or beating. However, keep in mind that Tap’s gesture will need to press and maintain the surface and wait for vibration feedback, confirming that their actions have been recorded. Let’s take a quick look at what the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro cameras are capable.

6x teleobjective zoom is also good for the first planes
After my initial use, it is difficult for me to draw a verdict about which phone is better and what phone does a better value offer. From a camera perspective, the FND X8 Pro definitely has an advantage in the Zoom department, since not many Premium smartphones offer zoom optical 6x these days. As for finding X8, despite having less cameras, it also seems quite capable, but I will have to try both devices in different scenarios to see and deduce the strengths and weaknesses of each phone, not only with its cameras but with its design, duration, duration of battery and screens too.
