OnePlus Nord Buds 3 review

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 launched in India on September 17, almost two months after OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro launch. Real Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones recently launched with dynamic titanium controllers of 12.4 mm, up to 32DB of active noise cancellation support (ANC) and it is said that they offer a total battery duration of up to 43 hours. The vanilla option seems to be similar to the pro variant in terms of design. They share some specifications, but the most cheaper Nord Buds 3 comes without some of the advantages offered by Nord Buds 3 Pro. Do these differences affect the general performance of the base version? Is there a discernible difference in the user experience that these two headphones provide? We will discover it in this review.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Design and Characteristics: Family Territory

  • Size – 29.99 x 20.30 x 23.87 mm (sprouts); 66.60 x 51.24 x 24.83 mm (case)
  • Weight – 4.2 (outbreaks); 46.2g (case)
  • Water and dust resistance – IP55
  • Colors – harmonic gray, melodic white

The design of the newly released OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is similar to that of the design Nord Buds 3 Pro. Like the PRO variant, these TWS headphones carry an internal design with silicone ear tips. The tips come in small, medium and large options, and the medium size offered me the best adjustment.

The tactile control area towards the top of the stem is demarcated with a dip

Headphones are comfortable to use for a prolonged period. The wider background stems of the headphones allow users to adjust the adjustment more easily. There is a lower possibility of accidentally activating a touch control command since the sensors are placed towards the upper and narrower stem and are marked by notable abolish.

Meanwhile, the magnetic load box in the form of oneplus Nord Buds 3 has a USB type C port and a pairing button at the bottom. A flash LED light at the front of the box indicates the load status of the device. The load connectors inside the box are placed towards the bottom. The case, even with headphones, is light and easy to carry. The headphones have an IP55 rating for dust resistance and splashes, while the case has no such certifications. They are available in harmonic gray and melodic white options.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Application and specifications: unequivocal essentials

  • Driver – 12.4 mm
  • Complementary application – Hey Melody App
  • Gesture controls – Yes

The Hey Melody application allows users to monitor the battery level of the load box, as well as individual headphones. It also helps manage the different noise cancellation modes, namely off, OFF and transparency. You can use the application to control tactile functions and customize the EQ configuration. It is stated that the dedicated game mode guarantees soft games and audiovisual reproduction with low latency. Double device connectivity allows headphones to connect to two devices at the same time.

EQ configuration can be easily customized through the Hey Melody application

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 has 12.4 mm dynamic controllers and a double microphone system. They offer up to 32DB of ANC and a total battery duration of up to 43 hours. Each individual headset obtains a 58 mAh battery, while the load case carries a 440 mAh cell. The case is equipped with a USB type C. load port support Google Fast Par, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and SBC and AAC Audio Codecs. Only headphones come with an IP55 classification for dust resistance and splashes.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Performance and battery life: too low?

  • ANC – 32DB
  • Battery – 58 mAh (Bud), 440mah (case)
  • Fast charge – yes
  • Bluetooth – V5.4

Is there too low? That is the first question that appeared in my mind in the first minutes of using the OnePlus Nord Buds 3. But it is not so much the existence of Bass Boost that the lack of a balanced adjustment. Changing these with my regular headphones during the review period, I did not please me when some of my current favorite clues sounded confused. The lack of detail, especially with more frequency sounds, is more vivid.

However, the customizable EQ configuration in the Hey Melody application is a saving grace in a way. For a casual listener like me, the toy with the six -band equalizer took me to a place where I could play most of the songs on my reproduction list with blowing. The prejustment of the serenade in the application highlights the voices, but mostly takes part of the bass. And although I am not crazy about the sound quality, I do not complain about the bass in acquittal. The bass is good. He takes us out of bed or sometimes helps us reign in the delay. It would have been better to have a balanced sound too.

The headphones, together with the load box, are light and easy to carry

Passing to Anc. Let’s call the shovel a shovel; Not long ago. You will take some disturbances covered for you, but you are far from canceling anything. The mode of transparency allows more noise than the ANC mode, of course, but does not keep much out. I was inclined to turn off the ANC function instead of using transparency mode.

The performance of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 microphone is decent, considering. Can you enjoy a solid telephone conversation with these headphones in the middle of a busy street? No. Should either wait? Not also. The voice, if it is slightly distorted, is audible. I am not a great person who calls, so I cannot say that this altered my experience.

However, my complaints with the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 end here. The headphones admit double device connectivity together with Google Fast Par. This not only means that TWS wearables can be connected to two devices simultaneously, but these headphones allow us to change without problems between them. These budget offers come with SBC and AAC support along with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The lack of lossless audio codec support is justifiable, given the price.

Similar to the pro variant, these headphones have a wider stem background

The coronation element of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is the battery life. The company claims large numbers and, in most conditions, they are close. Without ANC, the total reproduction time offered by these headphones is approximately 42 hours, while only headphones can last more than 11 hours with a single load. Once the ANC is on, the battery life decreases significantly. I obtained a total reproduction time of just over 26 hours and approximately six hours only in the headphones. I did not get more than 50 percent volume during the battery test period.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3: Verdict

It turns out that there may be too serious, especially if the general adjustment is out of balance. Once, there is a lack of detail in the sound experience offered by OnePlus Nord Buds 3, and the performance of noise cancellation is inappropriate. However, that may not deter interested, especially those with a strict budget.

In RS. 2,299, these TWS headphones offer an impeccable battery life. In addition, for casual listeners who use headphones for a prolonged period of time, the comfortable adjustment of OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is a good incentive. Especially because most TWS budget headphones are known for shaking ears with prolonged use. The soft dual connectivity adds to the list of reasons why they can opt for these.

With restricted funds, none of us expects a study experience of study master. After all, half of a bread is better than any. If you have plentyHowever, you can opt for the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro (review), sold In RS. 3,299 in India. In an additional RS. 1,000, you will get a significantly better sound and noise cancellation.
