Star Batter Travis Head was appointed winner of the prestigious Border Medal of Allan for the best Australian male Cricket player, while the young General Annabel Sutherland received the Belinda Clark medal at the Australian Cricket Held Australian awards here on Monday. Head, who had an exceptional year in the three formats with 1,427 races since the beginning of the voting period, received 208 votes to ensure superior honor, surpassing Josh Hazlewood (158 votes) and Pat Cummins (147 votes).

“It is quite difficult to believe. It has been a good year. Very happy to have fit, play a role and luck of having been able to play all the formats. It is a pleasant achievement, and I will enjoy it,” Head said in an engraved interview by Galle.

The 31 -year -old boss also took home the Men’s Odi Player of the Year Award and ended second at the Twenty20 awards and year player.

Head won Odi’s honors despite appearing in just five of the 11 hate that Australia played during the eligibility period. The young cryket player Sam Konstas, who made an impressive debut at 19 during the Boxing Day test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy against India, was appointed young Cricket player of the year. Konstas scored 113 races in the last two tests, including 60 of 65 memorable debut balls.

It became an instant sensation after demolishing the Star India Jasprit Bumrah pacemakers, who had been a threat to Australian batters throughout the five-test series, which Australia finally won 3-1.

The leg spinner Adam Zampa won the male player T20I of the year after taking 35 Wickts in 21 T20i, overcoming his head by three votes. Cameron Green received the community impact award for his efforts to raise awareness about kidney disease.

The awards ceremony also saw Michael Clarke, Michael Bevan and Christina Matthews induced in the Cricket Australian Hall of Fame.

Other winners included Beau Webster and Georgia Voll, who won the domestic player of men and women of the year, and Chloe Ainsworth, who was named a young Cricket player of the year. Glenn Maxwell and Cooper Connolly were appointed joint winners of the BBL player of the tournament, while Ellyse Perry and Jess Jonasen shared the WBBL Award of the Tournament Award.
