On the last day of the 38 swimming competitions of the National Games, held at the Manskhund, Golapar, Haldwani pool, athletes from all over the country offered exceptional performances. The combined 4x100M mixed relief saw the Karnataka team claim gold with an exceptional time of 4: 03.91. Tamil Nadu secured money with a time of 4: 10.61, while Maharashtra completed the podium with bronze at 4: 11.09.
With an impressive gold medals count, Karnataka emerged as the dominant force in swimming on the last day of the National Games. Upon arriving at a football event on Haldwani, the women’s football semifinals saw Odisha and Haryana secure remarkable victories, reserving their places in the final.
In the first semifinal, Odisha defeated Delhi 5-1. Rebecca Zamthianmawi scored the only goal of Delhi, while Pyari Zaxa de Odisha scored one with Malti Munda scored an orthopedic device, while Summitra Fembram and Jabamani Tudu obtained their names on the score sheet.
In the second semifinal, Haryana triumphed over West Bengal 4-1. Ranjita Devi scored the only goal for Western Bengal, while Haryana led by Captain Mamta (7 ‘and 28’), Neha (23 ‘) and Sharda (54’) took their team to a convincing victory.
