Moral Booster for Bengala: WB BJP in Delhi’s victory

In enthusiasm with the victory of the party in the elections of the Assembly of Delhi, the Western Bengal Unit of the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party said on Saturday that victory will serve as a moral reinforcement for the party in the state.

The elections of the Assembly in Western Bengala are scheduled in 2026. The ruler Congress of Trinamool has surpassed BJP in recent elections in Western Bengal, including Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

The president of BJP of BJP, Sukanta Majumdar, and opposition leader, Suvendu Adhikari, expressed their hope that the victory in the national capital will drive the perspectives of the party in the state.

“The elections in Delhi show that people are not with corruption, people are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, our next goal is Western Bengal. In 2026, all Bengalis not only reside in Western Bengal, but also in another place they will join to win Bengal [for the BJP]”Mr. Majumdar said to journalists.

The leader of the opposition Suvendu Adhikari, who went to a public meeting in Purba Medinipur, spoke in similar lines and said that it is now the western Bengal shift. Mr. Adhikari said that cash incentives and false cases will not work and “all Hindus will join.”

“We will not allow Western Bengal to become Bangladesh. Haryana has spoken, Maharashtra has spoken, Delhi has spoken and Bihar will vote for us in November. The following year, in February or March, Western Bengala will also give the same verdict, ”said the opposition leader.

The state president of BJP, Sukanta Majumdar, also talked about the unity of anti-trinamool voters and said that the BJP can succeed in trinamool if all the votes surveyed in the support of other opposition parties, namely the IPC (the IPC ( M) and Congress, reach the BJP.
