Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath met the victims of the Mapa Kumbh stampede in a hospital here.
He asked about his welfare of doctors and ordered the medical staff to provide them with the best possible care, according to an official statement.
Thirty people died and another 60 were injured during a stampede at Maha Kumbh at the beginning of January 29.
“The state government is concerned about all devotees. There will be no shortage in its treatment and comfort,” said Yogi Adityanath in the statement.
Yogi Adityanath also ordered the hospital administration to guarantee the safe return of the injured to their hometown.
Before the visit of Yogi Adityanath, the main secretary of Uttar Pradesh and DGP visited the hospital on Thursday.
