On Tuesday morning, after Selena Gomez published a video of her that broke on the announcement of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, about the deportation of illegal immigrants, the Internet was divided into her position.
Many came out in support of the pop star, while others trolled her by the reaction. The King’s wool singer, who is a defender of Trump’s political slogan ‘Make America Great Again’, joined the latter.
The viral video that Selena had published in her Instagram stories is now eliminated. But Lana del Rey’s comment on the video, criticizing Selena, is being widely circulated on the Internet.
“You should pack your bags and return to Mexico. Take your grandmother (grandmother),” Lana wrote.

In the clip now eliminated, Selena said: “I just wanted to say that I am very sorry. All my people are being attacked. The children. I do not understand. I’m very sorry, I would like to be able to do something but I can’t.
Together with his spoken message, Selena also wrote “Sorry” along with a Mexican flag.

Several Internet users also responded to Selena for video. A user wrote: “Sport of this clown”, while another wrote: “His people, he is American, his” people “are American citizen. If she wants to be Mexican, then she will live between ‘her people'”. Several other comments followed.
After facing a violent reaction about his video, Selena shared another Instagram story where he wrote: “Apparently it is not good to show empathy for people.” However, this publication was soon eliminated as well.
Selena has expressed about immigration rights for a long time. According to this, he produced a Netflix documentary in 2019, entitled Living Undocumed, which shows eight undocumented families living in the United States under the Trump administration.
In October 2019, the singer-actor spoke with Time magazine, where she revealed that in the 1970s, her aunt crossed the border between the United States and Mexico, followed by her grandparents.
