The World Championship medalist Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the second round of the Male Single event in the Badminton Masters Tournament in Thailand in progress on Wednesday. Rakshitha managed to overcome the Wu Luo Yu in China in a well-full match 21-19, 21-16 to ensure its 16-point round.
Among the players who were eliminated from the competition were: Tharun Mannepalli, SáSH Kumar, Ayush Shetty and Mithun Manjunath in male singles, Tanya Hemanth, Shriyanshi Valishetty and Tara Shah in the Singles competition and Duplicos Indian men of Abinast Motanty– Ayush Pattanayak.
