Washington – Washington (AP) – Karoline LeavittThe youngest person to serve as a white house secretary will make their debut in the information room on Tuesday.

Your first informative session is scheduled for the 1 PM et.

The Information Chamber of the Press James S. Brady was the site of clashes between spokesmen and journalists during the first mandate of President Donald Trump. Trump, a Republican, also made frequent appearances there during the coronavirus outbreak.

It is not clear how often Leavitt, 27, plans to hold reports. Trump had four press secretaries during his first administration, Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Stephanie Grisham and Kayleigh McenanyAnd Grisham never made an informative session, while the others were more frequent presences behind the podium.

Leavitt was spokesman for Trump’s campaign and transitionAnd he said she did “a phenomenal job” when he announced in November that it would be her White House press secretary.

“Karoline is intelligent, hard and has proven to be a highly effective communicator,” he said in a statement. “I have the greatest confidence that will excel on the podium and help deliver our message to the American people while we make great America again.”

Previously, the youngest press secretary was Ronald Ziegler, who was 29 when he took the position in 1969 at the Richard Nixon administration.

Grisham was possibly the least visible press secretary of the Nation in modern history, without having a press conference for nine months at work. Although he made occasional appearances in the Fox news channel, he preferred to record his interviews in a study to avoid having to talk to journalists who meet at the entrance of the White House to interview the officials after they appear in the television through cameras established outside the executive mansion.

The White House Secretary generally generally serves as the public face of the Administration and has historically had daily information sessions for the press body.

Trump interrupted those rules in his first mandate, preferring to serve as his own main spokesman. While he was president of 2017 to 2021, he often preferred to commit directly to the public, from his demonstrations, publications in social networks and his own informative sessions.

At a press conference last August, Trump was asked if he would have regular press reports in his new administration. He told reporters: “I will give you total access, and you will have many press information sessions, and you will have, huh, me.”

When it was a press secretary, he said: “They will probably do something. If it is not daily, it will be much. You will have more than you want.”
