Karate instructor Shihan Hussaini passed away after a brief battle with cancer in his home in Besant Nagar early Tuesday (March 25, 2025) morning.

The 65-year-old karate expert and archer founded The Archery Association of Tamil Nadu (TAAT) and also served as its general secretary for several years. 

In their condolence message, members of TAAT remembered Hussaini for his significant contributions to the growth of archery as a sport in Tamil Nadu.
