Infinix has made laptops before, but this is his first attempt at a laptop for games. The Infinix GT book was presented in India together with the Infinix GT 20 game phone. It is equipped with Intel processors of up to 13a generation and even Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. The laptop has a unique design that will definitely put some heads and also has a competitive price. I have had the Infinix GT book for a couple of days, and although I have not had time to explore it completely, here are my initial impressions.
First, I will talk about design. The Infinix GT book is seen as thanks to the Mecha cyber design, which will also find in some of the brand’s recent smartphones. The upper and lower cover is made of metal and have a matt finish, which helps maintain digital footprints and remote stains. The lid also presents the Mecha Loop emblem. In general, the book GT feels well built, and yes, you can open the lid with one hand. Infinix states that this is the lightest games of games, with a 16 -inch screen that weighs 1.99 kg.
The Mecha bar is an RGB strip that is customizable
It also has a RGB lighting in the form of a thin strip located in the back called Barr Mecha. The rear also houses the exhaust ventilation grilles. The lower panel has an orange accent grid for admission fans and resistant rubber feet to keep the laptop planted. All RGB on the laptop is customizable using the GT Control Center, but I will talk more about the experience in my full review.
The opening of the lid reveals a full -size keyboard with RGB lighting of 4 areas and a fairly small touch panel. Then there is the 16-inch screen with an anti-glare coating, thin bezels on the slightly thicker sides and bezels at the top and bottom. The screen offers an appearance ratio of 16:10, Full-HD resolution, 120 Hz update speed and up to 300 brightness nits. At first glance, it seems to be a good screen for games. The upper bezel houses a 1080p webcam and dual microphones.
The laptop has a 4 -zone full -size RGB keyboard
Before talking about the internal parts, let’s take a look at the ports on the laptop. It obtains two type A 3.2 type ports, an SD card slot, HDMI 2.0 and a USB Type-C DP port. In terms of connectivity, the Infinix GT book offers up to WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 of double band. The company provides a 210 W power adapter in the box that can definitely be used as a weapon. I think Infinix did a good job with the selection of ports here.
Very good, moving to the internal parts, the Book Infinix GT comes with a 70 WHR battery, dual fans for cooling, up to 32 GB of RAM LPDDR5 not updateable and up to 1 TB PCIE 4.0 Storage. The laptop is configurable with an Intel Core I9 13900h processor up to 13 ° Gen I9 13900h and even Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB VRM. Our review unit came with the Intel Core i5 12450H processor of 12 ° Gen, NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050 with 6 GB of video RAM, 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and storage of 512GB PCIE 4.0. There is also a variant that comes with an Intel Core i5 chipset of 13th GEN and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU.
The laptop has orange accents in ventilation grids and speakers
The base variant, which I will be testing, has a price of RS. 59,990. It has a total graphic power (TGP) of 80W, while the other two variants offer a slightly higher TGP. I will try the laptop thoroughly to see how well it is doing in the games.
For the first attempt, I think Infinix has done a good job with the GT Book Gaming laptop. The price is good, and as part of a limited time launch offer, users will also get some gifts with the purchase of the laptop. Gifts include a RGB Gaming mouse, RGB Gaming headphones and a RGB Gaming Mousepad. Although the internal parts are older than the most recent game laptops, they should be good enough for games, video editing and others. Are attentive to our complete review to find out if the infinix GT book is a good laptop for games to buy.
