Rishabh, 27, debuted for India in 2017, has increased ranges without problems to become an exceptional asset for the team in the white and red ball cricket. He has played for the country in 150 international matches in Odi, T20is and tests, and it was an integral part of the team that brought home the T20 World Cup last year, ending 11 years of India for an International Cricket Council (ICC) Trophy.
However, its importance has been particularly felt in the trial parties, registering centuries in Australia, England and South Africa, which have been unprecedented feats for an Indian goalkeeper. Rishabh’s efforts have been vividly recognized by the broader Crickt fraternity, which turned out that he became the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League India (IPL), since the Lucknow Super Giant disbursed RS 27 Crore to ensure its services in the recent mega auction, also designating it as the captain of the franchise. It has been collectively promoted as a potential candidate for the Captaincy, since it has already led India in T20IS and the Capitals of Delhi in the IPL too.
