Everyone has their optimal point when it comes to portable computing. For a person, an 11 -inch laptop could be perfect to transport, while another might not import a laptop with a 18 -inch screen as well. But what about a complete desktop computer?

HP this year has created a product that combines the best of both worlds, with the aim of offering the practicality of a computer all in one (AIO) and a laptop. It is called the HP Move Move portable desktop PC and is full of some interesting hardware options and software features. This unique device, which can be considered everything in one (AIO) is designed for a specific user group: those who want the power and familiarity of a desktop PC, but also the flexibility of moving it. All traditional PCs are compact, but they are still stationary and require a constant power connection. The envy movement aims to change that with a built -in battery and a simple solution to take it to where necessary. But with laptop computers with folding screens and dual screens already available in the market, does a portable AIO PC make sense? Keep reading to find out.

HP Envy Move Desk Price All in one in India

The HP envy movement has a RS price. 1,24,999 in India for the unique variant that is available in a white color with shell. This model has a 13th generation Intel Core i5 processor with Intel UHD graphics. There are 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and 1 TB of storage PCIE NVME M.2. Within the retail package, consumers will obtain the HP Envy movement, a 90 W adapter and a Bluetooth wireless keyboard with an integrated tactile panel.

Desk review all in one of HP Envy Move: Design and screen

The HP envy movement has a double tone design that uses polycarbonate fabric and textured mesh materials in the housing. In the front, the Ti speakers system hides under the mesh with the HP logo in Chrome. On the back of the desktop is the largest HP logo recorded in Chrome. Above there is a handle through which the computer can be lifted. The mango also carries the same color scheme, but its hinge is composed of leather, which adds a premium element. On the right side, the desktop obtains the food port, the HDMI 1.4B port, the bright control buttons and a power key. The left side shows a USB type C (10 Gbps), a USB type A (10 Gbps) and volume controls. It also has a privacy shutter for your webcam at the top. The entire machine weighs 4.1 kg, which may not seem much for a desktop machine, but it is quite heavy for laptop standards. During our tests, we found it quite heavy to be raised with the handle.

When not being stored or transported, the HP envy movement uses rotating feet that takes their position only when it is maintained at a table, which are also formed by polycarbonate. The desktop feels stable when staying at a table and does not stagger at all. This is good, because HP imagines its users to move this 4 kg PC along with them inside their own home when they exercise, and even when children use them.

Upon reaching the screen, the HP Envy movement is equipped with an IPS QHD panel of 23.8 inches with a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. HP states that it has a maximum brightness of 300 nits, which I found quite low while I used it in a well -lit room.

It comes equipped with a touch screen

It is not very readable when a light source is redirected towards him. I noticed this mainly when filming the product for this review. The touch screen is receptive and does not get any problem on that forehead, but the resolution feels a bit low in this given screen size. I saw a couple of films about the envy movement, since it addresses people who need a machine for entertainment, but saturation levels were quite disappointing for this and sharpness was also a bit low. The QHD screen is fine to work and use applications, but it does not reach exactly the optimal point when it comes to entertainment, since it would have preferred a more clear screen.

HP Move All-in-one DESK DESCON REVIEW: Keyboard, speakers, tactile panel and camera

The keyboard you use has a built -in trackpad that may seem a bit uncomfortable for users who buy a desk and expect to use a mouse and not a trackpad. However, the trackpad responds and the keys are also tactile and is a compact configuration when taking it from one room to another.

The HP envy movement has a 5W 5W 5W system system that is co-adjusted with Bang and Olufsen. This audio quality is good enough to watch movies or even listen to music, but do not expect this to deliver a bass while watching an action or heavy music movie.

In the front of the camera, the HP Envy movement uses a 5 megapixel webcam that has support for Windows Hello and can also be used to click on the images. It uses a certain degree of AI to reduce noise during video calls, but the video is not yet seen acute enough. The camera is compatible with dual microphones for a better audio reception.

Desk review all in one of HP Envy Move: Specifications and Software

The HP envy movement does not have much customization when it comes to its central specifications. The desktop all in one comes in a single variant with 1 TB PCIE NVME M.2 SSD and 16GB LPDDR RAM (soldier) and there are no updates available on these. For the processor, the HP sending movement is equipped with the Intel Core i5 1335u and Intel UHD 13th Gen graphics, there is no update here either. This can become somewhat restricted to final consumers, but it seems good for a basic PC at home with an approach to multimedia and entertainment. The desk uses the power cable to run, but is equipped with a 6 -cell lithium -lithium ion battery that can be loaded using the 90 W adapter.

It comes equipped with a physical switch to block the webcam at will

The whole in one can be charged 50 percent in 45 minutes, which is almost the same as the results of my test. In terms of wireless connectivity, the ENVY HP movement has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Desk review all in one of HP Envy Move: performance and games

This whole can handle most productivity applications, including Adobe Photoshop and even Adobe Premiere Pro to some extent with 1080p editions that are not very rich in GFX. While rendering, overheat and the fan sound is quite strong. Upon reaching the reference points, I ran Geekbench in which he scored 1,602 for a single nucleus and 3,975 for multiple nuclei. The whole in one is not compatible with Cinebench R23. The HP envy movement is not intended for games, but I tried a couple of games on it. His performance was not too good. Forza Horizon 5 worked well at around 60 fps in optimal configurations, but as soon as I increased the configuration, the frames fell dramatically. This will run the casual games well, but any graphic hunger game will have difficulties in this machine, so it is far from being ideal as a game machine.

HP Move All-In-one Derstemption Review: battery life

While the HP envy movement can pass through the power cable, its internal battery is particularly useful when there is a power cut or has to change the desktop from one place to another without losing its current PC status. Although the battery is the secondary energy source on this machine, it is executed for approximately 4 hours, which is quite impressive.

Desk review all in one of HP Envy Move: verdict

In a nutshell, HP envy movement makes more sense in a house instead of an office. It doubles well as a secondary screen for those who need one due to their battery support. In theory, it is a convenient way to continue with your work or vision of entertainment, as you move from one room to another.

However, in RS. 1,24,999 is too expensive given the hardware that is offered and then there is the inevitable fact that it weighs 4 kg. One would be better with a large (but compact) tablet (Android or iPad) for entertainment on the fly. In addition to being much lighter, these are also less expensive and will last much longer because they are more efficient in power. There are also larger laptops such as Asus’s ZenBook duo that offers folding screens that measure 19 inches wide (or high) if it is what a compact battle horse needs, but at a slightly higher price (Rs. 1,59,990 from now on).

The HP envy movement still makes a lot of sense if you need a PC all in a compact that will move through your home occasionally because we are honest, it is not as light as a laptop. You are not intended to replace your laptop and will definitely not replace your tablet. And this means that it attracts a very niche users that can find that it is the perfect sweet point, but more for work and productivity than entertainment.
